Death has not stopped in 36 years of Chernobyl nuclear disaster!

Tuesday (April 26) marks the 36th anniversary of the catastrophic disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine. Although 31 people died instantly, more than 115,000 people have lost their lives to various health problems and cancer due to radiation.

April 26, 1986 Terrible explosion during a test run at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine, the former Soviet Union. At that moment 31 lives were lost. This nuclear accident is mentioned as the biggest disaster of all time.


Although the Soviet Union claimed that the explosion in the nuclear reactor was an accident, there are doubts in the West. About 20 hours after the accident, a fierce fire broke out when the outside air came in contact with the combustible material of the nuclear reactor. The fire has been burning for 10 long days. The nuclear reaction spreads pollution over a few kilometers.


Hundreds of thousands of people were forced to flee after the nuclear disaster. Since then, the residents of the surrounding areas have been suffering from various health problems due to nuclear radiation. Which they are still carrying. So far, more than 1 lakh 15 thousand people have died due to various diseases due to radioactivity and radiation.


The Chernobyl nuclear power plant came under renewed scrutiny in February, 36 years after Russia's military operation in Ukraine. Immediately after the operation, the Russian army claimed control of the power plant. However, Moscow later said it would explain it to Ukraine.
