Big rise in the stock market

The stock market saw a big rise on the last working day of the week. The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) index rose 51 points and the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) index rose 125 points.

A look at the stock market on Thursday (June 16) showed that the share price and turnover of most companies have risen along with the index.

 


Of these, 25 crore 97 lakh 89 thousand 529 shares and units of 381 companies have been traded on the DSE. Shares of 198 companies rose, 135 fell and 47 remained unchanged.



Beximco's shares were the most traded. It is followed by Shinepukur Ceramic, RAK Ceramic, IPDC, Munnu Fabrics, JMI Hospital, Saif Power, Unique Hotel, Orion Pharma and HR Textile Limited.

On the other hand, the overall index of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) CASPI increased by 125 points and stood at 18 thousand 898 points.



Shares of 295 companies were traded in the market. Of these, shares of 165 companies rose, 100 fell and 30 remained unchanged.

 


87 crore 33 lakh 32 thousand 655 rupees has been traded on CSE on this day. The previous day's transaction was 42 crore 60 lakh 48 thousand 195 rupees.
