According to the latest data from the Department of Health, no deaths have been reported in the country for 26 consecutive days. The total death toll has remained unchanged at 29,127. Earlier, on April 20, one person died in Corona.

According to the department, 32 people have been re-identified in the last 24 hours. The total identified 19 lakh 53 thousand 81 people. 258 people have recovered. A total of 18 lakh 99 thousand 897 people.

Earlier on Monday (May 16), coronavirus was detected in 36 people in the country.

In the last 24 hours, 4,290 samples were tested. In contrast to the test, the detection rate is 0.75 percent.

Meanwhile, according to WorldOmiter, a website that keeps track of coronavirus deaths and recovery, 1,117 people died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning. The total number of deaths has risen to 62 lakh 90 thousand 453 people.

On the other hand, 7 lakh 32 thousand 499 people have been newly infected with corona in the last 24 hours. A total of 52 crore 32 lakh 9 thousand 618 people have been affected by this. And a total of 49 crore 30 lakh 85 thousand 893 people have recovered.

The US, the world's most powerful country, has the highest number of infections and deaths to date. The total number of victims in the country at the top of the list stands at 8 crore 43 lakh 57 thousand 608 people. Besides, a total of 10 lakh 26 thousand 899 people have died.

Corona has so far infected 4,31,24,869 people in India, the second most affected and the third deadliest country in the world. The total number of deaths in the country is 5,24,241.

Brazil, which is the third most affected and the second deadliest country in the world, has so far infected 36 million 1 thousand 900 people and killed a total of 6 lakh 65 thousand 56 people.

In France, which is in the fourth position of the list, 2 crore 91 lakh 89 thousand 572 people have been identified in Corona so far. And 1 lakh 47 thousand 478 people have died due to infection.

In Germany, which is in the fifth position of the list, 2 crore 58 lakh 9 thousand 664 people have been identified so far. On the other hand, 1 lakh 38 thousand 7 people have died due to infection.

The United Kingdom is sixth, Russia seventh, South Korea eighth, Italy ninth and Turkey tenth. Bangladesh ranks 42nd in this list.
