A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 'Sustainable and Green Framework Engagement' was signed between Bangladesh and Denmark on Monday.


Foreign Minister. The MoU was signed by AK Abdul Momen and Danish Development and Cooperation Minister Fleming Molar Mortensen. Princess Mary Elizabeth of Denmark, who was visiting Dhaka at the time, was present.


After the signing ceremony, a meeting was held between the two foreign ministers at the same place. During the gathering, they examined issues of shared interest.


Earlier, Princess Mary Elizabeth of Denmark arrived in Dhaka on Monday morning on a three-day visit. Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Foreign Minister. AK Abdul Momen welcomed him. Shortly after her arrival, the princess met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganobhaban.


He is scheduled to arrive in Cox's Bazar around 5pm on Monday and will later attend a briefing of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) on Tuesday morning.


The princess will drive from Cox's Bazar to the Rohingya camp and observe soil erosion control and DRC's environmental restoration activities by planting trees at Camp 5.


The princess will exchange views with eight to 10 Rohingya beneficiaries in an open shed. He will plant trees there. Mary will likewise converse with the neighborhood local area.


From Cox's Bazar, Princess Satkhira will leave on Wednesday morning and go to Kulti village to meet climate-risk people.


The princess will visit the villages in the climate risk areas and visit the cyclone centers and embankments in the area. There he will also talk to people affected by natural disasters living along the dam.


The princess is scheduled to leave Dhaka for Istanbul next Wednesday night.
