Charles took a suitcase full of cash for charity from Qatari tycoon and former prime minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani. Although it was kept secret for a long time, this information about taking money was leaked last month. The British prince faced fierce controversy and criticism about this.

An investigation is also underway against Charles over the receipt of that money. Meanwhile, the news of receiving money from the Laden family was also revealed. British news media "The Sunday Times" first published the news.

In this regard, Clarence House, the residence of Prince Charles in London, said that it was confirmed by PWCF that the trustees of the organization decided to accept the money after due verification.

Clarence House also said in a statement that it would be wrong to attempt to paint the issue in any other way. Clarence House also said that he has objections to several facts mentioned in the report published in The Sunday Times.

According to the Sunday Times, Prince Charles accepted the donation after a meeting with Osama bin Laden's brother Bakr bin Laden at Clarence House. The news also claimed that Charles took the money despite the objections of Clarence House and PWCF advisers.

But PWCF chief Ian Chesher said the five trustees agreed to take the money, which was accepted as a grant in 2013, after "careful consideration". He said, detailed information is sought from various sources including the government and they are verified as per rules. The decision to accept grants rests entirely with the trustees. So trying to represent it otherwise is misleading and wrong.

On September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks took place in New York and Washington, USA. Which is better known as the 9-Eleven attack. The United States claims that the attack was carried out on the orders of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. About 3,000 people were killed in that attack, including 67 British citizens.

In the wake of the 9/11 attacks, the United States launched a military invasion of Afghanistan in the name of the 'War on Terror' and overthrew the then ruling Taliban government. Following this, in 2011, US forces killed Osama bin Laden, who was hiding in Pakistan.
