Meanwhile, in addition to the Amazon Champions League, they also have the rights to broadcast the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League. The games of these two tournaments will be seen on Amazon screens around the world.



UEFA has sold the broadcasting rights from 2024 to 2027. The highest governing body of European football will earn a total of 15 billion dollars in these three seasons. The company currently earns $3.6 billion per season from broadcast rights.



While Amazon has got the broadcast rights of the Champions League for the first time, they have already taken the broadcast rights of the important 20 matches of the Premier League. They will broadcast 20 important Premier League matches each season.

Following the sale of broadcasting rights, UEFA said in a statement that broadcasters will be able to earn 125-129 percent more from the Champions League starting in 2024 under the new system. That is why the price of broadcast rights of Champions League has increased, they said. European club authorities are discussing how the money from the new broadcasting rights will be distributed among the clubs.
