To enhance privacy and security, Microsoft has decided to launch a free built-in virtual private network or VPN in their Edge browser. Microsoft is currently testing a Cloudflare powered VPN service called Edge Secure Network.

News Media Verge hopes to launch it in a security update in the future.

If it is turned on, Edge Secure Network will encrypt the user's web traffic. ISPs will not be able to collect user browsing data.

In addition, due to the use of virtual IP address, it will not be possible to determine the location of the user.

In this way, the user can see the country-based block content if he wants.

Verge says that when you create a Microsoft account and launch it, a shield icon will appear in the frame of the browser.

However, before Microsoft, some other browsers are coming with this VPN service. For example, Opera has free VPN. On the other hand, Mozilla and Google also have a paid VPN service.
