Three people, including a child, were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat. The accident took place in Palerhat area of ​​the upazila on Sunday morning.

Among the three killed were two drivers and a child.

It is learned that a bus carrying Comfort Line was heading towards Khulna. The bus collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction when it reached Palerhat in Fakirhat upazila this morning. The bus and truck driver was killed on the spot. Besides, one woman and one child were injured. After rescuing them, they were admitted to Fakirhat Upazila Health Complex and the doctor declared the child dead.

Golam Sarwar, assistant director of Bagerhat Fire Service, said on his mobile phone, Two drivers were killed on the spot in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck. Their bodies have been recovered. Besides, an injured woman and a child were rescued and taken to the hospital, where the doctor declared the child dead. In this incident, after the traffic was stopped for an hour, everything became normal. The bodies were recovered and sent to Fakirhat Model Police Station.
