11 crore 84 lakh people under two dose vaccination

To prevent the spread of the pandemic coronavirus, 11 crore 64 lakh 66 thousand 831 people have so far been vaccinated in the country.

Besides, 11 crore 62 lakh 15 thousand 959 people have come under two dose vaccination. In addition, so far one crore 24 lakh 597 people have received booster dose.


In the last 24 hours (Thursday), the first dose of vaccine has been given to 10,847 people across the country. 40 thousand 953 people got the second dose. In addition, booster doses have been given to 67 thousand 802 people at this time. These are the vaccines given by Oxford-Astrageneca, Synoform, Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.


Vaccination activities for 12-17 year old students started in Bangladesh from last 1st November. One crore 73 lakh 20 thousand 872 of them have been given the first dose till now. The second dose has been given to one crore 58 lakh 98 thousand 148 people.


According to the department, 2 lakh 18 thousand 106 floating people have come under the vaccine in the country so far. They have been vaccinated with a single dose of Johnson & Johnson.


Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the country's vaccination program at Kurmitola General Hospital in the capital on January 27 last year. He inaugurated the vaccination program by joining virtually from Ganobhaban. After that, Ganatika activities started from 7th February.
